Self-Hypnosis Protocol

1) Close your eyes
2) Take in 3 deep breaths and let them out slowly
3) Count yourself down from 10 to 1
4) Relax into your Safe Place
5) Repeat your suggestions
6) Visualize your desired outcome in as much detail as possible
7) Count yourself back up from 1 to 5


Your Safe Place can be anywhere - inside a building, or out in nature. Some people imagine a secluded tropical beach, others imagine a room in a house, or a penthouse suite. Anywhere YOU feel safe and secure is a good Safe Place for you.

Suggestions should be positive and present tense. For example: "I have excellent posture." This is much better than "I don't slouch." Some suggestions are better in the present perfect tense: "I am getting better and better at studying." This works especially well for things that you are becoming.
